Hi All
I signed up a couple days and am a worldwide collector with special collections of WW 1 and 2, trains , Germany, GB, King George VI, India and Indian states. I am also looking into Roos as another special collection.
Thanks,
William

Welcome William! I love to study history and am particularly interested in WWI. I never really thought to start a stamp related collection (until now -lol) and would love to see some of yours sometime! There are quite a few Indian states collectors/specialists on board here and you will surely find answers here! Again, welcome to S.C.F.! -Jeff

To I love stamps
The reason I started collecting WW1 is bc my grandfather was wounded in France and spent 3 day laying in the mud til help could get to him. I even have his discharge papers from 1918. My only problem now is getting some of the newest WW1 stamps from foreign countries. When I get a new scanner I will start a topic on it. To tom Thank you and so far I love it here I also am on stampboards too

Hello William, and welcome to the community! This is a very friendly and welcoming place.

I started "dabbling" in 'Roos a few years ago; nothing very serious yet-- it started as an extension to my worldwide cancel collection, but then I started getting interested in printings and plate flaws, as well.

Cheers,
Peter
