I have a blue 2s Australian Stamp depicting a Lockheed Constellation with the Qantas name on the side. I cannot locate it in Scott. Can someone tell me either the Scott number or the date of issue? TIA
Ths stamp was released on 6th January 1958. If Scott viewed it as an airmail stamp it would be listed after the ordinary stamps. (Scott is a foreign language in my part of the world)
Hey Grahamg, If this is it Scott cat 1 2009 page 617 listed it as C8 Super-Constellation over Globe Inauguration of Australian "Round the World" air service dark violet blue Perf. 141/2x14 1958, Jan. 6
khj, thank you, I am slow at typing and we both must have seen it at the same time. I try to add what I can, and when I do it makes me feel good. I then feel I am in the same league as so many that are here. I enjoy this forum a lot and the knowledge that is here is eminence.
