I just recently purchased a huge collection of stamps and will be selling them off. If I decide to just sell ONE stamp that is hinged to a Scotts album sheet do you think it is better to cut the sheet in half and just leave the stamp hinged to the sheet or to take it off the sheet. If taking off, whats the best way to do this?

Thanks

If the stamp is just hinged to the page , just lift it gently and pull down until it lifts off the page. But if it is stuck or glued to the page you might have to do some thing more drastic.

So I am assuming if the hing stays stuck to the stamp to just leave it alone? Your saying it is better to take the stamp off the page then.

Umm, I am not sure. I have never had a stamp that was hinged be that difficult to take off. And as for taking the stamp off the page you can leave it on the page if you are displaying all your stamps that way, but you said in your earlier post that you wanted to sell your stamps. There are a lot of people on here who have a ton more experience than I do and maybe they can jump in to give you a hand.
