Is This Gift Worth Anything?

I have just been given another set of stamps from a friend who lives in Alderney. Does anyone have any idea what it is worth?

Do you always look up the values of the gifts you get from friends?

I hope that the only reason you do so is to make sure that you pay the proper taxes on the gift.

Wouldn't want to think that you want to try to figure out how good a friend you have or how much you can get for selling the gift.

I'm guessing Silver spin is looking for Catalog values to simply log them in the collection . I don't have a gibbons catalog but they are definatly worth face value regardless of catalog. For items like this that I receive from friends or family I usually get a sentimental attachment regardless of actual value- Its kinda rare anymore that people take the time to think enough of a person to send along a gift never mind even a phone call.
