Hello Scouter,

I almost went with world history, but in the end I am still learning so much in so many different areas I went with undeclared even though I am no where near that four year mark.

Very interesting question though, as for me, I can almost claim them all in the many roads that stamps have taken me.

I went with doctorate, as my ultimate goal for my collection is to specialize in all areas of philatelic material from Yugoslavia, including stamps, covers, stationery, and related non-postal items, such as cinderellas, revenues, etc.

Make that 40 years and still undeclared.

It's really a bit of everything including all the pretty colours.

I'd say World History since it's the history of the British Commonwealth that attracts me most to those stamps.

I decided to go with Geography since my collection lately has been revolving around the towns fould along historic Route 66.

Very tough to decide.. (self being a thematic collector collecting elephants)
*Art history: yes learned about some new art forms through stamps..
*Economics: yes very tough to control the monthly spending, even tried to sell some extra stuff.. but both ends not matching. need to be a good economist..
*Geography: Discovered some new countries and provinces through stamps..
*world history: of course yes, collects postal stationary and some censored covers too..
*Zoology : To learn about elephants I had to go through that too..
*4 Years and still undeclared : very true, best option, its 8 years and un declared, I started collecting during my last year in college.
*Docorate of Philatelic Science : lets see in future

Our Elephant,
Have you posted them somewhere? I have a few and would love to see if we have any duplicates.
