You look & they are mounted with elmers glue or scotch tape!

When my late mother was staying with me for a while, I left a couple of newly purchased booklets where I should not have. One morning she handed me some mail addressed to Germany, to post for her. I was shocked -- shocked, I tell you -- to see she had used two stamps from my US Space Exploration booklet.

At that, it was still underfranked. Good ol' Mom never knew how much postage was required. She just added stamps (any stamps, 1c, 5c, 85c) until it looked right.

Being a dog owner, this has always frightened me:
