Scott #14
What a beautiful cancel. This is what S.O.N. is all about. I wonder what happened to the time/date stamp that would normally be located in the center of the C.D.S.

Scott # 22
Another absolutely stunning cancel. The only problem is that it is "probably" a favor cancel. The Scott catalog text for the first stamp, #14 states that a favor cancel existed with a hyphen between the San & the Jose, for those issues. This is the only mention of that specific favor cancel, but since it existed, one can only assume it would also be used on later issues and this is an example.
So, if either of these stamps has a counterfeit or favor cancel, are the stamps themselves then useless and of no value as I find no mention of value in Scott's.
