This week the Tuaregs people from the three northern regions of MALI have proclaimed independence.A secession bid was swiftly rejected,by MALI and the African Union and every other country. These are normadic people who nurtured a dream of a Sharan homeland since MALI'S independence in 1960.

Unless Azawad will be recognized by other countries in the coming months (which I doubt to be honest), they will probably not (be allowed to) join the UPU and any stamps issued by the country should thus be considered cinderella's shouldn't they? After all, the same basically goes for Sahrawi ADR (or Western Sahara).
