Please bear with me. I am finding it hard to ask this question!

Can We? List on ebay with 2 or 3 lap tops that are bundled in an ADSL provider system at the same time?

Or can we log in on our ebay store with 2 or 3 lap tops at the same time and all list at the same time?

Help! KGV

I don't think ebay allows multiple logins at the same time. You could use a program like Auctiva to create and post your listings from multiple networked computers as it posts them to ebay one at at time. You would have to have them all networked together with one main computer doing the ebay uploading, it would not work if they are just connected to the internet, they would have to be on a LAN.

mystic226 is correct. If you try to log in using the same id, even using a different internet engine (Firefox versus IE for example) or from a different computer, ebay denies the login.

I'm pretty sure my wife has logged in and bought stuff at the same time I have had my watch list open (usually open all the time) Same provider her on laptop and me on desktop. May not be able to do it from different locations but under same IP (router) it may work a good percentage of the time. If your lookin at double listing that means your busy which is a good thing. I've tried the batch uploader and didn't like it for 10-20 items but maybe for 50+ it would be a good option to do all the details and upload at once. I've been finding that with my lures adding an image from photobucket or whatever host right into the html is far better for sales than just using ebays single picture hosting. Plus if you do big lots with many pics this works well. Good luck!

I think you would find that if you tried to change pages (leave the watch list and go to buying or selling areas)or refreshed your screen, you would get a message asking you to log back in. It is actually in ebay's user agreement that only one user may be logged into any one account at any one time, so even if you could get it to work you are breaking ebay's rules and they may block you and remove any active listings.

Thank you all very much for your replies.

After thinking about what has been said and the situation we are in it looks like splitting the hours in the day up to say a day shift and night shift will help our growth needs.

That would give listing time for a day auction and listing time for a night auction.

It also suits our different sleeping patterns.

To list Australian stamps properly it takes at least 3 people to even come close.

Always Happy Stamping. KGV

dont know about anyone else but I sometimes have a number of ebay sessions running under my sign on - I just open a new session by right clicking and opening up a link from a page in a new tab - doesnt seem to stop me bidding etc from different pages whilst still logged in

I do the same as huckles888. I open several ebay pages open to different categories with no problems whatsoever. I am automatically logged in on any new page (tab?) I open if I am already logeed in on the first one I open. But is this really what you are asking about, KGV? There is some kind of synchronization because if I add to my watch list on one tab, the watch item also appears all other ebay tabs I have open. I am not sure I am using the correct terminology but I hope you all get the idea of what I am saying. I do not know how it will work with listing items.

I found this in the ebay seller tools, it basically allows you to do what you want KVG Collector. You can have multiple users on one account and it tracks who did the listing, etc.

No problem, do it on a regular basis. It could be easier using a site like auctivia, depending on what you are trying to acomplish.
Good luck
