I am planning to put some pages of stamps out for SCF auction and I was wondering if there is a best way to do so - scanning or photo. This would be whole pages - or most of a vario page. Scanning seems easiest but is there some technique to use to get the best definition (quality of picture) for the person looking at the page?

When I scan a full page (Vario) I do 2 rows per scan for 7 & 8 Row sheets.
