Hi all

In the last week or so, we have had three bits of mail come to our house in plastic USPS bags because they were damaged in transit. We never had a problem before, now we have had three in less than a month!

Has anyone else in Massachusetts had any problems? Maybe a sorting machine is out of whack???

I had one mail item to Florida I sent to a buyer that was damaged. Luckily, it was inexpensive and I refunded the item, but the purchased cover was completely missing from between the cardboard and the outer envelope was manangled. So much for that extra charge on the postage for "non-machinable" mail. I have a feeling postal workers are trying to place mail into machines that do not belong.

Nells,

None of my mail has had that issues. I even received packages from India & mail from Austria that was fine.
