Used A Descriptive Word For Stamps!

The term "used stamps" is a very generalized way of describing a stamp. And the one I use extensively.

Used :- is the grading of a stamp.

Used with a clear cancel:- Used, by a special cancel.

Used first day of issue (FDI):- special cancel.

Used postally :- Is a type of used and is cancelled at around the time of issue of the stamp.

Used postally :- Is a type of used and is cancelled a long time after the stamps issue.

Used cancelled to order (CTO):- Cancelled by post office but the gum still on the back of the stamp.

CTO with no gum :- is another way of describing used.

Used with no cancel or mint with no gum :- Are two other way.

Clean skins :- is a used term for stamps coming out of kiloware that some people reuse for mailing.
