Selva:

The second is New South Wales, Australian State. Could be Scott # 98,or 110 (watermark 12) or 122 (watermark 13).

Regards,

José

Selva, the first stamp is Switzerland Scott# 69 or #77,depending if it's granite paper or white paper. The Granite paper will have Blue or Red silk threads on the back of the stamp, catalog value .65cents, or if it's white paper catalog value is $350.00. Scott 2011 values, hope that this helps!!

Thanks Tongman. Mine does not have any red or blue thread at the back. The price $350 is for mint or used. Tks.

Selva, the value quoted is for what is shown in your scan- a used stamp.
Be sure that you look real good for the silk threads as they are hard to see sometimes.

Here is a link to a picture of Swiss granite paper shown at Wikipedia:

Use a good light and a good magnifier, and look for the telltale "squiggles" in the paper (not on the paper). As tongman says, they are not always obvious, and they may not be as clear as they are on that Wikipedia picture.

Good luck.

Selva, thanks for the additional scan. I can see a red thread in the lower left side of your stamp. Perhaps "threads" are a little confusing, because they are really only fragments of silk not long threads like a piece of string.Do you have access to any stamp catalogs? Have a Great day.
