Here's an item I found interesting. An internet search seems to confine the offer to 1916-1917 only. I doubt many (if any) of these books survived to this day, but it sure would be interesting if they did.

Has anyone ever heard of this one before? The book itself was apparently $1; with a subscription to Outlook Magazine, the price was $3.25. Accounting for inflation, $3.25 in 1917 would equal $58.24 today, which was quite a hefty sum for a magazine subscription even in that day.
