Hi Everyone --

Several months ago on this site I asked for help with sharing two Excel docs I was working on because they wouldn't post directly here. Anyway, today I have finally carved out some time to try out Dropbox, a file-sharing website recommended by a fellow SCF member.

One of the docs is a chart of the denominations, presses, perfs and Scott # of the First, Second and Third Bureau releases (1922, 1923, 1926), plus related issues: BH, FF, Stuart, Taft, etc.

The second is a chart of the Washington-Franklins, identifying them from the entries in Brunell's precancel catalog, with the overlap he allows. i.e. where he says "1908: 1c" that could mean either #321 or #374, and within the precancel world it apparently doesn't matter which you hold in your collection (unless you are a purist and want both).

If anyone would like to view these and let me know what errors or ambiguities they find, I will be happy to edit them and re-post them for anyone here to download.

I thank chasa for his helpful clarifications which enabled me to get started. But right now these docs are definitely Beta editions because I am the only person who has seen them.

I just checked the clickable links below after posting, and they worked. Please let me know if they don't work for you.

I would drop the part about 'if they exist' as almost all of the high-denoms exist, Some 5$ SC573's have sold for high prices on ebay recently. The Washington/Franklin section is a little misleading - email me if you like.
