a few years ago a fellow was selling fakes on ebay..and were people bidding on them..i was outbid several times..thank goodness before I won these,, he did not misrepresent...he acknowledged they were fakes..but what cheap imitations..few collectors would mistake them for the real stamps !!

I guess you can sell anything to someone on ebay. I don't know if it's true or not, but there was something about a guy selling the box for one of the new game systems that way hard to get. Supposedly, people didn't read the offer carefully and bid a ton on it.

I'm pretty sure I have some fakes from lots I have bought. They look too new for the year they were supposably printed. I'm trying to read up on them so I can better Identify them. I'm thinking of sending some samples of them to some of the veteran collectors to see what they think.

That Great Tom I'll send you a few samples of ones I'm wondering about. I have many spares of these so you can do with them what you wish.

If I get my pickling done early enough I'll have them in the mail in the morning. If not they'll go out on tuesday.

Tom

I sent out a few examples this morning. Let me know what you think, I wouldn't have a clue what to look for. Thanks again
