I picked up this #329 on a 2 1/8" x 3 1/8" envelope at the stamp club last week for 50 cents. What's the smallest postally used envelope you have?

Here is my smallest cover. It measures approx. 2 1/2 inches X 3 1/2 inches. There is a perf gauge in the pic for size comparison.

Those are awesome!
I wonder if they'd jam up today's sorting machines?

I have 2 that I considered small...
The first is nearly, but not quite, a petite square.
Best I can describe it anyway...
The other is about as wide, but much shorter.

Edit:
Found another little one... Roughly ties the Goodheart cover
as my smallest. I am curious now. I might have to dig these out
and measure.

This is AMAZING!

I found this tiny envelope among my covers and was astounded to see that it matched one of the covers bobgggg posted. Exactly! Same stamp, same address, same postmark, even the same handwriting! What are the chances? Especially when except for things such as unaddressed FDC's, I was always under the impression that each and every cover was unique. This little one measures a mere 2-1/4 inches by 3-19/32 inches! That's a small envelope. Bob's envelope does appear to be a bit larger, however.

That is amazing.
I re-sized the pics to put them side by side for
comparison of markings. Size differences can not
be judged though. The resizing didn't come out
perfect.

I marked all the identical stains, folds, and
accidental pen marks in red.

I then marked all differences making each cover
unique in green.

Edit:
The top cover has a yellow hue in the scan/pic. It is unnatural
as it extends clean into the color of the stamp. I ran it through
photo shop, using the stamp ONLY as a baseline, as that is the
only thing between the two that wouldn't have a variable... I
equalized the hue using the 'clean' stamp. When the top stamp
equalized to the hue of the bottom stamp, the envelopes were the
same color.

Bob, if you look at those comparison scans, they're
both even off-square along the left side.

I'll have to check the covers again. I was only
looking for the one with the smallest envelope.

Ratio, I'm happy to hear you had fun with it.
I won a contest prize from Bob recently and
he included both covers as part of it. When
I recognized them, here, I just couldn't resist
putting one up.
