H-H, welcome to SCF. In order to help you identify your stamp, please provide a scan of same. I assume you are referring to a GB issue since you refer to Blackpool, July 18, 1909 so the stamp in question might be Scott # 128 - King Edward VII which was released in 1901.
This Edward vii stamp is one of 19,012,289,520 stamps issued so is very common. Varieties exist. For example... 103,524,860 were produced for booklets and half of that total are inverted watermark.
