This is a 2003 issue commemorating the Silver Jubilee of the Bangladesh
National Philatelic Association. It is an overprint of the 2002 Rural Games issue. It is listed as 4 Taka(#2547;) in various places but there is a big 8 Taka in the upper left. Does anyone know why that is?

In addition does anyone have a catalog number for this stamp?

According to the site below, this overprinted stamp was released on 31 May 2004. There is no explanation of the 8. The stamp is listed in Stanley Gibbons as SG866 (2004).

My Stanley Gibbons catalog is very old . I had better look for some newer ones. Thanks much for the info
