Hello,

My father passed away and we recently found a small collection of stamps and I have not been able to find out much if any information about the stamps. While attempting to locate information I found this group. Hopefully I can find out the information from this knowledgable group, and maybe I will get stuck with you guys and hang around for a while.

Bobby

Hi Bobby,

I hope you decide to take up your fathers hobby. Do you know if your father had any friends who collected or if he belonged to a club? I would try and find a club in your area. Many stamp shows now offer a service called "Stamps in your attic" where experts help folk like you determine what they have. A good resource to find both is http://www.stamps.org where you will find links to local clubs and shows.
Tim

Hi Bobby, welcome and you are amongst the many and the best with the collection that you have inherited. It is a common and wonderful story to have something like that. I hope you decide to stick around and show us some of it and maybe we can help identify some of it. WELCOME - Jeff
