I'll take 2, please. Is postage extra or is it included?

I remember when I bought mine and took it home, and, how careful I was inserting it into a mount. I then printed up a special page for it in my album - - then I woke up with my head on the keyboard.

Great stamp alright.

I honestly don't like it. I think it's way WAY overrated and that at least the "Z grill" (That Donald Sundman traded for his block) is at least more interesting philatelically. It's cool but the gold coin would b more of an interest than that. That inverted jenny is printed on everything in every catalog (especially mystic) you look at. I don't mean to be a party pooper but it is what it is I suppose.

and I am fortunate enough to know someone who owns one - this is his.

I only know him through the internet but he has a fine collection of US that I drool over every now and then.

A super stamp with a wonderful history. I particularly like the story about the one that got sucked up by the hoover.

Man, I'm hanging with the wrong crowd. None of my friends have stamps like That. I will have to rethink who I consider a stamp friend... I've been doing this all wrong.

Is it true that there is one used version of the stamp? I remember reading about that a long while ago, and that it's worth more than the mint version.

Here's the best story and details of the Inverted Jenny that I've come across (beginning at page 8):

As for the matter of a possible used stamp, I believe the possibility exists but since the stamp has never come to market (as far as I know) it's mostly speculation. Our SCF member Russ had made a comment sometime ago about the possible position of the "used" stamp based on this quote:

Perhaps Russ can provide us with more information on the stamp in question. I have searched the internet but have come up with no information about that particular item, which would almost certainly have made big news headlines.

The philatelic literature has long stated that seven of the stamps have been lost or destroyed through theft or mishandling. However, this information needs updating; for in 2007 a copy came to light that had not been seen since Eugene Klein broke up the sheet, and was offered for auction that June. The number of lost stamps then became six. Several others have been damaged, including one that was sucked into a vacuum cleaner. Apparently Green's wife mailed one which, while recovered, is the only cancelled sample.

I found this doing a search "Used Inverted Jenny"
