I purchased a batch totaling eight of the 1924 Scott mini-albums during yesterday's stamp club auction. The mini-album has 16 pages for stamps with educational text on the last page and inside back cover. Each of the eight albums has a sealed packet of 50 stamps and a sealed packet of 50 hinges tucked inside. Since the hinges are also a Scott Stamp product, I am supposing that the album, stamps and hinges were provided as a give-away by Scott. Each album has the name/address of the stamp dealer (?) - C.P. Edwards - hand-written on the front. Living in Charlotte, what is interesting to me is the address - Queens Road, M.P. - M.P. stands for Myers Park. Myers Park is a very affluent community with old upscale homes. And there on one of the most affluent streets was a stamp dealer.
