Here's an interesting item and a nice gesture on behalf of the US Postal Service. I had ordered some Project Mercury pictorial cancellations back in late February 2012 and they just arrived yesterday (June 7, 2012).
To my surprise, the covers were sent to me in the attached Priority Mail envelope with the USPS paying the postage...delivery confirmation and all, as well as including a tag apologizing for the delay:
Anyway, the pictorial cancel came out very nice:
