Hello!
I am a 12 year old stamp collector from Hawley, Massachusetts (a very tiny town). I have been collecting since age 5, when my parents cleaned out the basement and I got to keep the stamps. I currently collect u.s., Austria pre euro (just so I have a place to stop), and to some extent worldwide pre-1940. Well That's pretty much all I can think of to say. I have really enjoyed reading everything on here, and have learned a lot!

Welcome New12collector!

I collect USA stamps too. I also collect W/W Airmail stamps.
About your USA stamps - do you have an album that you are putting them in? If so which one? I have a Librty USA album that had been my main USA album, but then I got a USA Minuteman album. I also have a 3-ring binder that I put USA pages from year 200 up into. I get those newer USA pages free from a couple different websites that have free USA album pages.
Good luck!

Dave N.

Sorry for not responding earlier. I use a mystic heritage album, but I didn't choose it, it was a gift. I'd like a hingeless album someday, but would rather spend the money on stamps.

Hello new12collector ... I hope you enjoy your stamps and the hobby for a long time.
I think you will find that a lot of collectors on here started when they were pretty young and have kept it going for many years. It's a hobby that sticks with you forever if you want it to.
