I am a long time collector of primarily US material, although I stopped collecting new US issues about 5 years ago. As the "holes" left in my collection are pricey(for me), I've been searching for new US collecting interests that provide an opportunity for learning (e.g. Washington-Franklin types) and study without breaking the bank. Recommendations welcomed.

Welcome, rsumner ! It's not quite as warm here- the high 80's only, but then again I have a very high elevation. I hope the weather cools down soon there!

Welcome. It's supposed to be over 100 degrees here in the DC area tomorrow, so I know how you're feeling.

I'm just coming back to stamps after a 18 year break so am in the same conundrum that you are. Take a look around the forum for a while. Something will peak your interest.

Have a good one.

Hello from Perth, Western Australia.
Welcome.

Here it was 0 degrees this am, neighbors Solar HWS froze and burst,
later in the day sending up a fine local waterfall.
I disturbed his weeks holiday at the beach resort with a phone call,
and turned off his mains.
