I, too, agree with the RFD No. 2 reference.
However, it may be next to impossible to identify the "Hazel Hunter" in the address without a postmark or some city/town information. Is there anything on the back of the card?
Since "Hazel Hunter" would be a relatively common name in the US and, of course, this is addressed to a single individual as "Miss", the idea that she could have married later in life (after this card was sent) is also a distinct possibility.
I am rather intrigued by the comment in the card message that refers to seeing you at the "Bush Meeting" on Wednesday. The period reference to a "Bush Meeting" was also known as a "Burning Bush Meeting" (a/k/a Camp Meeting) in religious circles back in the day, especially in the Pentecostal denomination.
In fact, this quote suggests that the Metropolitan Church Association of Waukegan, Wisconsin was referred to in this regard in the early 1900s, sort of a radical group in its day. Although I haven't checked with any certainty, it is possible the person could have been affiliated with that church group:
Quote:
The Metropolitan Church Association (MCA), sometimes called, "The Burning Bush," was a radical Holiness group centerd in Waukesha, WS. They emphasized enthusiastic worship, evangelism, holy living, and communal values.
