Thank you Chasa. I downloaded the precancel album from the stampweb site. It only showed a serif type 43 and gothic type 61. Is there a better site to get an album for precancel varieties.

I highly recommend the CD-based version of the PSS T&T catalog.
I know modern style is to get all info out of 'the cloud', but it is better in some cases to pay the money and buy the medium.

Thank you Chasa your advice is always sound. During the interim I found a 637 Gothic with a "M.W. NOV 41" on a separate line above Baltimore almost into the top line. I know I am a precancel neophyte but any help is appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
