Finally finished scanning some postcards & covers I bought a couple of weeks ago. This cover, postmarked Mar 26, 1907, was sent to Wales, Ma.

I can not figure out what the organization is that sent it? Google didn't help much, but most search results were of a Masonic organization. What do people think?

Never mind. I did some more Googling and found that I.O. of O.F. stands for Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Never heard of them but they appear to be a fraternity that does charity work.

Definately an Odd Fellows cover. You must have first been a Mason to join the Odd Fellows.

Although a lot of the symbolism and rituals are quite similar to the Masonic, you do not have to be a mason to join the IOOF. Both male and female may join the IOOF.

Gunny, you might consider editing your original post to change the title to something like "Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cover." That helps increase the value of the forum search function.

This YouTube video gives a 4 minute history on the organization, including what they do today. An interesting comment included in this video is that both Presidents Franklin D. Roosevelt and Warren G. Harding were members:

The Wiki page posted earlier in the thread states it is for the
British versions of the "Oddfellows". Here is the US "Odd Fellows":
