Subject line says it all, if the name on the cover is Lawson it would be "priceless"in the words of a TV commerical.

According to the Woodmen website there is no lodge in Portsmouth, OH. Was there one there at some point in the past or is the organization's website not up to date?

If there was a Lodge in Portsmouth, it would have been in circa 1950 or before. My Grandfather William Lawson was a WOW member. I have a watch with a fob made out my grandmothers hair that has a WOW dangle on it. SO I'm trying to collect WOW Items with a stamp bent to it.

You might want to write to the home office in Omaha to see if they can provide you with any background on the lodge that he belonged to. If you're lucky, they'll respond in writing with pertinent information and the letter may even have a stamp on it!
