This 1932 Sodus, New York Cherry Blossom Festival event cover I got yesterday contains an advertising card promoting Sodus' cherries and apples.

Sodus is a small town in Central NY, northwest of Syracuse, on Lake Ontario.

Thanks Rick, I generally buy blind or semi-blind at auction. The one this came in a lot that had a one line description and no photos.

I've been in DC for the cherry blossoms. Are the cherries eaten or are the trees strictly an ornamental variety?

The Trees where given to Washington Dc by the Japanese government and are strictly ornamental, It is a beautiful sight when the tidal basin is in full bloom in early spring. I am sure there must be some covers out there somewhere!
