New to the forum and fairly new to stamp collecting. Given an old collection by my Grandad years ago which I've now revisited and decided to specialise by collecting Chile (1853-1953). Just want say hello, looking forward to learning together and enjoying the hobby. Revicbaxter

Just to make things clear. Total catalog value of the Spanish "cool stuff" in pristine condition (which is not the case): less than 3 €, all can be easily obtained for 1 €...
Welcome revicbaxter, hope you get your 50 posts and become one of us...seems to me you are limiting yourself stopping at 1953 with Chile..theres a lot of good stuff after that...and not an expensive area to collect !!
you will enjoy the scf and the knowledge that you will recieve I just like to surf and gather info I try my best to control myself but I Love Stamps.South American are affordable compared to other regions or high end value and mordern stamps.
