Due to its size I could not scan the below cover completely.
It measures 35 cm(=14 in.) to 25 cm (=10 in.)
The second scan shows the registration part not caught in the 1st scan.
The back of the cover is void, the gum on the flaps is still unused and the covers show no sign of use.

I have 10 more similar covers (same address)with lots of stamps on them, all cancelled Chaco in 1985 (can't read the date), but only 2 of them have the "Registrado" stamp. So I suppose that all those covers are CTO and the registration number is decoration only?

Nevertheless I show the cover here, because my question is:
Should I cut up all the covers? Many of the stamps are missing in my collection.
Thank you!

Don't destroy the cover. It is a valuable but inexpensive addition to you collection. If you don't want the cover, sell it or auction it and buy the stamps you need.

As ncbuckeye said, don't destroy the cover. I had a cover like this from Ecuador, also with lots of low value stamps, registered and 1980's. I sold it on ebay for over $50 to a buyer in Ecuador. You never know.

The single Stamps should be easy enough to obtain. If a Stamp by itself is worth $1, then it's probably worth $3 on cover. Covers are unique in themselves as there are usually not two of the same since they include sender and receiver information, not to mention the path it took to end up at the address on the envelope. IMHO, covers are far more interesting than single used Stamps.

No, this is valid postal usage and the registered covers were indeed sent with registered service. The covers are obviously put together by a philatelist, but they would be a very nice little collection. Please keep them intact.

I have the same issue with stamps on cover that are not in my album. I just put the covers in my album next to the page where the stamp would go. Having a free-form album helps.
