I probably should have waited but I just couldn't help myself. It was marked at 10% of catalog so now I have a new President Washington to look back at me.
That's pretty impressive Jeff. Congratulations. Too bad about the straight edge. Send him to me and I'll get my hole punch out. Fix him up straight away!
Also I should be straight up about it - it says in the description that it has a small repaired tear (upper right center I believe). Here is the listing if you want to scrutinize.
I been bidding on these #73's for at least 3 months and they always seem go waaaaaay over my stamp budget. This fit the bill and I could afford it and since I'm not ever going be able to spend the big bucks on a wonderfully supurb and certified copy, I figure this would do for now. I hope you like it as much as I do flaws and all!.. it might be junkie but I'm very proud to own it and I can always send it back if I'm unhappy with it says the seller Thank you for taking a look -Jeff
Please keep in mind that these are the sellers images. I will scan it proper when I get it. For what I paid for it I really can't complain because I been actively hunting a #72 for a few months now and they're not cheap! Anyhow just wanted to let you know what I was up to lately.
The Farley's (A bit rough looking eh?) ha-ha! There were more singles and single gutter pairs but nothing to get excited about so I didn't bother scanning those.
