Hi guys

Is this what they call a "double cap" on the number 2...?

Scott refers to it as "cap on both 2's" (Scott 220c).

I definitely see a cap on the left. It is hard to tell on the right. There is a single-cap (left side only) and double-cap. That right 2 though is a teaser.

Edit: I see it now with the other example. Definitely a double-cap.

Cool..Thanks guys, found a bunch of American stamps in a book I had when I was about 10 years old and a few 1870's to...Thanks.

Wert, I see a cap on the left 2, but the right 2 does not look to be a cap.

I used one of my programs that can remove the cancellation and it sort of looks like a "double cap"...?
