Outbid on the 3409-3413 five sheet mint set by $1. If I'm going to get out-bid, have it something more substantial!

Ninjas - I hate 'em.

It is a pain when you just miss something like taht by so little.

But that was probably ebay increasing the bid over yours by the smallest increment. Maddening I know.

Could have been worse. Ever get outbid by a few cents? When some wise guy (like me) puts in a bid price ending in 77 or 32 cents, the ending price could get weird.

When you are outbid like that I'd be willing to be that you didn't use sniping software.

I was feeling bad today because I was outbid on a half dozen auctions. All of the lots went for quite a bit more than I was prepared to go. Cardinal Bass, your misery makes my disappointment less painful.

Well if it made your pain more bearable, something good has come if it. :)

You have no way of knowing what the winning bidder's max bid was... for all you know it might have been $50 more than you bid. Not worth getting up in arms over...
