Hello there my name is Dave and I am currently living in Florida.I must say I am addicted now to stamps after finally digging into my late grandfathers stamp collection here..I never knew he had this darn much(14 albums with alot of 1800 and early 1900 stamps..all looking superb (to me that is) and I really think I might have some real beautys in here after doing so internet research, but like I said I am new to this and will need your help gang until I get this stuff down pat..I just scanned my first stamp,a Scott 942..would really like to know what you think about it as I think it is near mint, and has a readable stamped date on it as well( does this help a stamp out value wise??) Anyways I am very glad to be here,so very excited about all of this and I am looking forward to learning from you all.I will go ahead and try my first post in the forum Thank you, Dave
