Here are 2 more. (The last legal sized cover is in really rough shape and isn't one of my good ones)

That final scan (from Harnit & Hewitt Cigars) is interesting as the right side of the invoice contains the following quote:

According to my lookup of the United States Food Administration Licensing, it was a World War I effort to conserve food and was terminated by 1920, which would suggest that the printed invoice used in the final scan was almost a decade old at the time of use.

It is also interesting that a cigar company would come under the auspices of this program, however, further checking suggests that Harnit & Hewitt was both a Cigar Company and Grocer, so presumably they just had different invoice forms printed for the various divisions of the company.

Hi,
Bob Milligan (of the Postmark Collectors Club) and I are updating the U.S. Promotional Slogan Cancellations 1899 - 1940 book by Robert Payne. I have transformed the PMCC's Slogan spreadsheets into separate states. If anyone is interedted in either classic (to 1940) or modern slogans, please feel free to contact me on this forum or at rsmall003@comcast.net
regards,
Richard E. Small

Great Yankee Girl cirgarettes cover. You certainly have a deep and wide ranging collection of stamps and covers. How long have you been collecting?
