Hello, you would need a stamp catalog or catalogs for the country or countries you collect...you are right...much has changed in 30 years..you do not have to buy an expensive stamp album..you can mount your stamps in plastic stock pages or print your own pages from readily available programs...check and see if there is a stamp club in your area...collectors would be happy to help you get going..otherwise ask questions here on the SCF !
