i am always full of questions. i have over 1500 stamped envelopes covers with postmarks from 1925 to 1930. all have the embossed envelopes with the 2 cent washington. i have not looked at these for about 20 years. I started last night. it seems that the die 2, 3,and 4 have some value. i am sorry I can not scan right now [seems things do not work when you want them to]
i tried to separate these into what can be piles [ these are my hope to be piles]. i will have to look harder at the die 2 and die 4 covers. [these are hard to see for me]
die 3 seem easier to separate [if they are really die 3] it appears that I have about 100 type 3 dies. [very thin inner circles] [i have thin ones and do not know what is very thin] i need some help to see if these are really type 3 dies. i hope they are [these have the some value and this is not my luck but I have fingers crossed]
i also have about 6 that have a closed a's [the a inside area is closed in the words states and postage] i do not see this mentioned anywhere.
i also am confused about the paper [oriental buff? blue paper?] it is hard to see the type
i would appreciate any help. i will look on the net to see if I can find anything.
i have also found some nice company logos and will share [if I can ever get my scanner working]
you can email me if you want dlw1955@hotmail.com or dlw1955@yahoo.com
