Here is what the color chart looks like and is specifically used to ID 267 & 279B varieties.

another good example of cropping and pasting to ID color.

When I have a chance I'll post multiple color variations for everyone to see. Maybe it'll encourage more people to search for color varieties once they understand how to make it easier to accomplish.

597596 I don't mean to be a wet blanket or anything but you must be very careful of copyright infringement when scanning published literature like that. However that is really neat! I think I'm going to purchase that book. I never heard-tell of it before? Thank you.

I just bought one of these books and I'm very happy with it. The black card with holes to help you focus only on the part of the stamp and the color chip is essential, IMO.
