Like so many others, I'm getting back into stamp collecting after a number of years. Always interesting, I'm enjoying it much more now that I have the desire and time to read more about the stories behind the stamps, especially the classics.
to the forum! Glad to see your re-interest in our hobby and the classic era stamps can be quite a challenge but one well worth taking! What countries do you collect?
I am focused on the U.S. right now. I have an old album with lots of mounted stamps that I'm moving over to a new Mystic album. But I'm also interested in worldwide, mostly Europe.
Hi Leoh, Welcome to site, I'm relatively new to the forum message board, but what countries in Europe are you considering. I've just started collecting USA but have a large collection of many other countries but they have to take a back seat whilst I concentrate on the USA where I'm collecting general issues from 1847 - 2012, Bureau Precancels, Printed Data Type Precancels and those countries that were seperate from USA until they joined in total such as Hawaii.
Welcome Leoh, Where abouts in Nebraska ? It looks like I'll be spending some time in Lincoln next summer as my company is involved in a large project there.
