I only ever buy the U.S. Specialized (which comes out next month), not the Vol. 1, but I'm seeing some items at auction with listed catalog values that imply that many revenues took a jump from the 2012 Specialized to the 2013 Vol. 1... either that or they are estimates rather than catalog values... the auction site doesn't say.

I find it highly unlikely that some of the stamps in question would have taken such a large jump in a single year, but I'd like to make certain.

If anyone has a 2013 Vol. 1, I'd appeciate it if you could post the listed catalog values for the following stamps:

R93a
R95a
R96a
R97a
R98a
R99a
R100a
R101a

Thanks in advance.

Thank you!

Well I'll be damned... those are some SERIOUS increases from 2012 to 2013. I would never have expected that. On the one hand, it's great for the value of the stamps I already own... on the other hand, it likely puts the ones I still need even further out of reach. :(

I should update my copy of Scott that I'm taking to INDYPEX on Friday before the Specialized comes out on Monday.

R93a $900 (2012: $825) 9% increase
R95a $850 (2012: $750) 13% increase
R96a $3,500 (2012: $2,500) 40% increase WOW!
R97a $3,250 (2012: $2,700) 20% increase
R98a $175 (2012: $150) 16% increase
R99a $2,500 (2012: $2,000) 25% increase
R100a $2,000 (2012: $1,600) 25% increase
R101a $325 (2012: $250) 30% increase

I guess certain collecting areas aren't flat or decreasing...

It's likely that most of those came about because of the Scarsdale revenue sale where people went crazy for material not always worth the price IMO. Plus a few of them were probably a bit under cataloged anyway, R96a and R97a are tough to find really nice and are fairly scarce overall, and R97a in particular is very attractive and has always been a popular stamp.
