Depending on the scan and if it was true to color I have seen this stamp range from a deep violet black to the blue you are showing. Mine is more blue than the stated gray lilac. I took a brief look over at stampwants and those colors range about the same way.

The stamp was issued in grey lilac. The blue ones are changelings, usually caused by exposure to sunlight.

I though it might be that but I wasn't 100% sure. That's too bad it is a nice looking stamp.

all of the other stamps I have or had are a gray color.
it is just me looking for a gem discovery.
