A small group of miscataloged or altered stamps, all from NYStamps. I sent an email about the first two and got no answer so I didn't bother about the third.

1) This is NOT RF15a, but RF16, cat value under $1. There is a note after RF15 explaining exactly what this is but apparently neither the seller nor the bidders have read it..

2) This is NOT RJA28 but RJA33 with a PWR cancel, cat value under $2.

3) This is NOT RB15c, it is an RB15b perforated stamp that has been trimmed to look like a roulette stamp. Very badly, I might add.

I thought the APS was supposed to be "partnering" with ebay. Do THEY care about such errors? Or do they steer clear of disputes?

If the APS chose to 'partner' with ebay - that would be a foolish overcommitment.
I love ebay but it is a flea market with tons of fleas.

I wish early on the APS would have taken my suggestion - hit hard on APS members who mis-represent on ebay. Then, if a seller shows APS 'credentials' she will have some credibility.
Right now the field is too big for realistic focus.
