I need help with the type of paper in this Philadelphia 5 Cent Documentary Tax Stamp. This stamp was issued by the City of Philadelphia. The paper appears almost transparent.



in 1937 and printed by the Girard Bank Note Company.

Pelure paper.
described as thin, hard, crisp paper used for stamp making.
