I bought this thinking it was a Pre Printed Paper Fold. Now, I'm not so sure. Opinions please. Typically, a PPPF is in a straight line, this one isn't. But it kinda, sort of, almost looks like one from the front.

Art, I know very little of US issues,
but a Romanian pre printed crease looks identical.
I would give yours a tick.

I don't know if there is a specific term but I'd call it a pre-print paper crinkle. Folds are usually straight but crinkles are not. From experience I have seen many a sheet of paper come out of printer or a press with a crinkle. A pre-print crinkle is not much appreciated probably because they are not nearly as dramatic as a pre-print fold. I once bought a US MNH Q11 for about $25 The seller described a defect as "... not sure what it is ..." When I received it and magnified to 600dpi I could see it was in fact a pre-print crinkle. I eventually sold it for $10. No one wanted it, here on stamp community nor ebay until a gentleman from Germany bought it at the starting bid. He did not want it either; he just wanted a modern cover from Guatemala.

Yes PPPF. Not sure if it holds any premium or not or if it's considered an E.F.O. or what? but I like IT! I just sold a #117 like that but not so drastic.

The best way to tell if it is a PPPF, is to see if there is any ink in the fold. Yours clearly looks like a PPPF.

I also have one from that issue that has a PPPF, it is the 24 cent stamp. And it does have a premium as EFO.

I bought mine advertised as a "crease" when I could clearly tell it wasn't

Also, Art, make no attempt to flatten it out or anything like that.

Yes, it seems that has no ink in the fold. Here`s a Romanian - but can`t tell for sure if it`s pre-printing (this issue has many printing defects - too many - so there are not listed)
