I'm considering the purchase of a press sheet of the Ladybird imperfs, but would like to test the waters with fellow members to see if they would be interested in a pane of the souvenir sheets. There are sixteen panes to each press sheet, but I really only want a single souvenir sheet leaving me with fifteen up for grabs. I've contacted two other members that have indicated that they'd like one, which would leave me with thirteen. Face value for each souvenir sheet is $2.70. If there is enough interest and I make the purchase, the souvenir sheets will cost you face value plus postage. If anyone is interested, let me know. For SCF Staff: I'm in a bit of a quandary with this note and hope that the SCF staff will understand if it should have rightfully been in the "selling" area rather than in this discussion area. Frankly, I'm just trying to determine if there is any interest among other members before I shell out my $43.20 to the USPS. I'm not trying to make money from this deal as you should be able to tell.

You're in the correct forum -- don't put it in "selling" unless you have one to sell because those threads are eventually deleted. Are the press sheets listed in the UPSP Store? All I see listed there is the Pane of 20... KirkS |

Actually these are being sold only as a souvenir sheet of six stamps. As far as I know, there are no panes of twenty planned for these. I couldn't find it either on the USPS site. However, Linn's Nov issue indicates that this is item number 578584 for purchasing through USPS. I've received significant support today from several SCF friends, so I intend to go ahead with my purchase. Once I have the press sheet, I will be offering some of the panes in the "Selling" area, but just for face value and postage. I refuse to do this as some money-making operation. |

Just called USPS' toll free number and the Ladybird imperf press sheets can be pre-ordered at this time. Sure seems that USPS is doing a very poor job of advertising these. It isn't on the USPS website, and the only factual reference I've seen on these was a tiny blurb in Linn's Nov monthly issue that wasn't even highlighted as new information. The silence on this issue is extremely curious. |

Another perfect example of how the USPS store's website is not very user friendly. There is often no rhyme or reason to where they place certain items for ordering and some are needlessly duplicated in obscure sections of their website, while others are missing altogether. I find it easier to just pickup the phone and place my order that way in order insure accuracy. |
