Hello all.....

First I'd like to thank Larry for the slogan meter covers from the 60's........and, David for the #201a from Barbados.....both are items that fit into my eclectic collection nicely.

I would also like to thank everyone for the response to my paper study. It has been/still is a lot of work/fun with literally hundreds of photo's and a fair amount of research. Trying to get decent photo's of items in watermark fluid has been a challenge to say the least. Most are worthless but it makes the better shots worth the effort, in my opinion.

When my study is completed I will have some samples of some types of papers available at very low cost, for anyone interested. I do not have multiples of all types but having some types in hand to compare to other stamps will help you determine what you have. Please let me know if you are interested so I can begin to create labeled packets.

And, just to let you know, the best is yet to come.

Tom, glad you could use the old meter slogans.

Here's something I just found in a box of covers I bought with a great slogan.

Tom,

I don't collect covers, so I will be selling it.
But since I don't know how to price it, would you
care to email me an offer, or should I list it on
ebay?

Tom, your cover, apparently from a Pentagon colonel to his wife between VE Day and VJ Day went out today. Thank you.
