In sorting through my stamps I came across the Lindbergh "Spirit of St. Louis" 10 cents and found that only three sides were perforated. The top was cut. I have not been able to find this stamp in my Scott and would appreciate someone's help identifying and numbering it. Pic attached.
Thank you...hawkstamp

This is simply a sheet-edge copy from the top of the sheet. Actually worth less than a fully-perfed example, and not priced in Scott or anywhere else. Do not confuse with the bottom stamp from the 3-stamp booklet pane, which will have perfs only at the TOP.

The color looks very odd on this one -- could it possibly be a fake/copy?

Fake/copy? Second time around, I noticed something too; the line across the top of sheet edge copies is normally absolutely straight and uniform - this one isn't.

Did the OP take a picture in B&W instead of color? Is it a photocopy?
