He shot me an email this morning telling me he gets a 500 Internal Server Error whenever he logs in. Can someone take a look at this.

Usually this is an error on the server side. Some things to try: 1. reboot computer and try again 2. delete cookies and try again 3. turn off computer AND turn off modem (and wireless router if there is one). Wait several minutes and try again 4. contact isp |

Ok, it follows the user on multiple machines. Can someone take a look at this? The guys is a supporter. Shouldn't that warrant and admin stepping and and figuring out what's going on? |

Can you get his login and try from your machine? He can then change passwords . Admin will help I'm sure just thinking of things to try until they can get to it. |

I would not expect him to give me his password. But if it's happening on his home PC and his work PC, I tend to think it will not work for me either. 500 are server side errors, usually dealing with file permissions. But in this case I doubt that's the issue. |

Hi apastuszak
I also had problems logging on this morning until finally around noon it worked.
Even though now there is a change in that one has to be a registered member to view the pages.
What's that all about? |

The site was getting absolutely slammed with spammer accounts. Sometimes at the rate of 50-60 per hour. I temporarily have turned of new accounts until a solution to stop these is implemented. It's being worked on right now by our developer.
The problem some of you had was due to this... We had never used the "Prohibit New Members" feature. Over the years we changed coding all over, then when we turned on the "Prohibit New Members" feature we found that some of the changed code over the years didn't play well with this setting. That's fixed.
tomiseksj's problem is completely different. At the moment I'm at a loss. He's the only one experiencing it. Trying to figure it out. |

I'm pleased to report that I'm finally back!
It was bad enough having issues from my home system but when I couldn't get on via the work-provided Blackberry it really had me worried.
Thanks to all for your help and/or advice (yes, I cleared cache's, deleted cookies, rebooted, etc.) and still couldn't gain access on either system, although I could get to all three of the coin sites). |

I guess that proves the adage: Some things are best left alone... |
